Protection From Retaliation

 

Reports alleging fraud, waste, and abuse in Metro programs, operations, and activities can be made without providing the complainant’s name. However, the more detailed and specific the information, the better we are able to pursue a timely and thorough review of the matter.

 

No action will be taken or threatened against any employee as a reprisal for making a complaint or disclosing information to the Office of the Inspector General.

 

However, the complaint must not be made or the information provided, with the knowledge that it is false, or with willful disregard for its truth or falsity.
